Found in Tassili N’Ajjer, Algeria, also called “the most beautiful dessert of all”.
Tassili n'Ajjer is a high plateau in Algeria where prehistoric cave art was found on many places.
More than 15.000 drawings and engravings show that human culture was here at least more than ten thousand years ago.
This area, which was then a steppe-like landscape, has a lot of rocks forming a labyrinth which contributes to the inaccessibility of the area.
The geological formations that one can find here are of high scenic value, such as the eroded sandstone 'rock forests' formations.
The contents of the various rock paintings and engravings, inspires many people with the idea that the history of mankind is different than generally assumed.
There are "mushroom shaman" found that may indicate that the ritual use of psychotropic mushrooms in this area have belonged to the cultural heritage.
Other designs have led to theories about contacts with aliens, which probably are stylized heads, seen through modern eyes as helmets.
Items found in this area are extremely rare and very difficult to come by.
