Wonderful Neolithic stone tool (end-scraper) made out of bright/grey patinated flint.
End scrapers were used to sharpen spear points, for the removing of the skin from animals and for other different tasks.
This end scraper was found at the prehistorically area of Spiennes located nearby Mons; Europe-Belgium, covering more than 100 ha, this prehistorically site is the largest and earliest concentration of ancient mines in Europe.
They are also remarkable for the diversity of technological solutions used for extraction and for the fact that they are directly linked to a settlement of the same period.
